Marcy P. Kostbar, Retreat Coordinator
Marcy Kostbar joined Capital Camps & Retreat Center in 2006. She had been the Executive Director of The Dennis & Phillip Ratner Museum for over five years. She was previously employed by The Jewish Council for the Aging of Greater Washington for over 12 years. While at JCA she was the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director, Manager of Administrative Services and most recently the Executive Office Administrator. Prior to that she was the Rabbinic Assistant to Rabbi Bruce M. Lustig, Head Rabbi at Washington Hebrew Congregation. She lived in Kfar Adumim, Israel from 1984 – 1987 where she taught English as a second language to Israeli elementary and secondary school children including preparing seniors for their required English exams for graduation. Marcy has had the good fortune to have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds. She cherishes spending her time with her children, grandson, friends and her geriatric cat and grand-dogs! |

Steve Simmons, Guest Services Manager
 Steve joined Capital Camps & Retreat Center in August 2007, having previously been employed by Hyatt Hotels as a corporate concierge. Steve brings 10 years of hospitality experience specializing in meetings, conventions and special events. His attention to detail and customer focused perceptive is the very reason retreat organizers love working alongside him. Steve’s role is to help group leaders plan all facets of their retreats and to supervise our hospitality staff ensuring that we provide excellent customer service while guest’s are on-site. Steve is married to Jackie and they have 3 children, Jakob, Carleigh, and Tori. |
